C.J. Stroud named the starting quarterback for Texans

TL;DR: C.J. Stroud, the former Ohio State quarterback, has been announced as the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans for the first game of the 2023-2024 NFL season. Despite a rough start in the preseason, Stroud showed improvement and impressed the coaches with his command of the offense. He will be joining another Ohio State product, the Chicago Bears' starting quarterback, in the NFL. Stroud's debut game will be against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Sept. 10.
