Bengals sign AJ McCarron as Joe Burrow questionable vs. Rams

TL;DR: The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback AJ McCarron to their practice squad as starting QB Joe Burrow's status for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Rams is questionable due to a calf injury. Head coach Zac Taylor stated that Burrow's availability is uncertain and the team brought in McCarron and Trace McSorley for a workout. McCarron previously played for the Bengals and most recently for the St. Louis BattleHawks in the XFL. McSorley has played for the Ravens and the Cardinals in the NFL.
