Colin Kaepernick has sent a letter to the New York Jets requesting a position on the team's practice squad. While some believe Kaepernick was blackballed by the NFL for his protests, this latest effort is seen as a misguided publicity stunt. Kaepernick wants to provide an alternative to Jets' quarterback Zach Wilson, but by making the letter public, it's unlikely the Jets will accept the offer. Kaepernick named several references in the letter, including Jim Harbaugh and Mark Davis. However, it seems unlikely that Kaepernick will be signed by any team at this point.
