Desmond Ridder's career day gives Falcons a last-play, 21-19 win over Texans

Recommended Posts

From profootballtalk:

Desmond Ridder led the Falcons to a last-play victory over the Texans, thanks to a game-winning drive. C.J. Stroud's fourth quarter comeback fell short as Ridder outperformed him. Ridder threw for a career-high 329 yards, completing passes to 10 different players. Kyle Pitts and Drake London were his top targets. Bijan Robinson contributed on the ground and in the air with 46 rushing yards and a touchdown. Stroud had a solid game for the Texans, but they had to settle for field goals and struggled in the red zone. The Falcons now have a 3-2 record while the Texans go to 2-3.
