Valkyrae, whose real name is Rachel Hofstetter, is a popular figure in the YouTube community, unveiled a piece of her private life on November 3, 2024, episode of "Press ESC" podcast. The highlight of this episode was her revelation about her first sexual experience, which surprisingly was with another woman. A snippet of her narration quickly spread on various social media platforms, with several followers mistakenly assuming she was coming out as a bisexual woman.
Valkyrae, however, clarified that she identifies as a 'straight' woman, even though her first intimate experience was with a woman. She revealed the other participant in the event to be the daughter of a family friend who babysat them often. Valkyrae elaborated on the incident:
"It was a family friend's daughter. One day, she called me over, and we ended up having an intimate encounter. Although it was a novel and not unpleasant experience for me, it did not change my sexual preference."
Valkyrae further elaborated on the incident by saying, "I did enjoy the experience, it was explorative yet out of character, and I have not had the desire to be intimate with women since."
Valkyrae's Relationship Status
Valkyrae's personal life has always received significant attention from her over 4 million YouTube subscribers. As such, it is of great interest to her fans to learn that she is presently not in any relationship.
In the past, she was known to be in a relationship with fellow streamer Michael “Sonii” from the period of 2016 to 2021. However, they have since parted ways and are not without their share of controversies and drama within their streaming industry.
