I find it as an amazingly calming hobby and it also produces yummy food as well!  But I an curious if others garden.

I have both an outside garden and a few indoor container plants.  Trying to grow an indoor banana tree up north as been my goal the past few months, and it is not dead yet.

In past I ignored the garden as if it could not make sense to me. I do make use of the garden for getting the time off my head. And also it can be useful for passing time when you are stuck at home and don't know what to do with your time. You can also turn this experience into something reasonable for yourself. During the lockdown a lot of people got into the gardening hobby and it is good approach.

I have always had a garden & had a small one here. However, my parents are getting older & my dad likes a HUGE garden so whenever we get down there, we help out when we can. If he ever downsizes or worse, passes, I'll do a garden here again.

I love tending to the garden & my flowers. Weeding is actually quite relaxing to me.

Awesome that you are keeping gardening in the family!  It is a solid hobby but I fully understand your overstock problems with a large garden in the family.

I've had gardens on and off for the past 20 years. This year I'll be doing another garden with mostly zucchini and crooked yellow squash. I have to watch out for the squash bugs who will completely decimate it in the matter of weeks.

I really don't like gardening, but I love the fresh veggies and I get a lot of exercise bending by squating and weeding as well as doing big jumps to get over the huge plants! My zucchini plants grow really big!

Last year I had 2 planters with zucchini plants and one did great, but the other one died early. I think I counted 24 zucchini I got total? Not bad for planters.
