Do you prefer grass or concrete/slabs in your garden?

The garden I have at the moment has grass and we do have an area that has fake grass where we have our hot tub placed. If I had the money and was able to, I would love to either change from grass to concrete or even have decking in my garden but at the moment, I am stuck with the grass.

Do you prefer grass or concrete or even decking or slabs in your garden?

I grew a garden this past summer and because of the weeds sprouting up, I used one of those garden tarps. It worked for a while but eventually the weeds burst through and now I have a mess!

I am looking into doing slabs once they die down over the winter to prevent them from coming back.
