What do you think guys when it comes to which sex is more intelligent? I know we are going to have divided opinions on this because some people would say it's boys while others would pick girls.

So, it's time to back up your choice with a good reason(s).

When it comes to between a guy and a gal and which one I feel is more intelligent I don't feel I can make a decision on that as I do not feel it should be based on gender but more based on the individual. Whilst in some cases a female could be a little more intelligent than a male, that does not always mean that will be the case depending on each individual.

You could end up meeting a male who is more intelligent than a female as well so I think it is based on a person-by-person basis and not by gender 🙂

Both males & females have their own smarts due to their biology. Just like how men are naturally stronger than women. Then women tend to share their emotions & want to talk it out more than the guys do.

From what I've heard, women are slightly more intelligent on average - but male intelligence shows more variance (so you'll find more extreme intelligence in men - but also more extreme stupidity 😛 )

I've meet idiots in both, but judging from the Darwin Awards, it's primarily dudes. It's easier for us to do stupid stuff to show off to other guys that end up getting us hurt.

And this is how the site got canceled 😅

Granted, I have always felt that women are more intelligent, but men are more driven to achieve something with their intelligence.  Although, thankfully, the first world is an amazing place where anyone can learn more than most others with simple motivation.

I think both are capable of high intelligence and amazing amounts of ignorance.

That being said, I think men and women have a different kinds of intelligence as per majority patterns. Women tend to be more emotionally and creatively intelligent whereas men tend to be better problem solvers and inventors. Whether we like it or not, female humans are hardwired to be gatherers and male humans are hardwired to be hunters. Everything comes from the basis of that. Not in ALL cases, but in most. This is why men tend to be better leaders and women tend to be better team builders and followers. Both are equally important.

I've seen no evidence from the job market that such differences exist.  Well, how do you explain women graduating college with good GPAs?
