Will Threads break Twitter?

Recommended Posts

None one believed that TikTok would ever dominate all the other social media platforms including YouTube but that's the reality today. Mark Zuckerberg launched Threads few days ago which is linked to his Instagram app to rival Twitter. Elon Musk isn't happy about it which his comment was that the app sucks. A lot of people are moving from different social media sites to Threads.

Do you think Twitter is facing a big threat being considered the GOAT of social media platforms?

With the way things are going with Twitter and the fact that Elon Musk is adamant that he wants to see most of the features that everyone uses behind a paywall such as how many tweets you can view each day depending on whether you are a Twitter Blue user or a free user and also very soon putting the Tweet Deck feature behind a paywall as well, Threads has potential to be able to succeed over Twitter.

It's a shame that Twitter went the way it did but now, many have an option for an alternative and I feel they will jump at that.
