Microsoft has released a feature called Crop and Lock for its PowerToys utility suite. This feature allows you to crop app windows to show only specific details. It is available for Windows 11 and Windows 10 v2004 or newer. There are two modes available: Thumbnail crop, which provides a live feed of the selected area, and Reparent mode, which is more interactive but may have compatibility issues with some apps. Keyboard shortcuts are provided for each mode. There are some known issues with certain types of windows and apps. Crop and Lock was added in PowerToys version 0.73.0.
