TL:DR: "Godzilla Minus One" will take Godzilla back to his original theme of nuclear devastation, set in post-WWII Japan. The movie explores the turmoil and chaos caused by Godzilla's awakening. With limited resources and a depleted military, Japan is left to battle the creature alone. The trailer highlights the iconic imagery of nuclear destruction, with mushroom clouds and gruesome shots of Godzilla's mutilated flesh. The movie is set to be chilling and memorable, releasing in Japanese theaters on November 3rd and US theaters on December 1st.
