  1. Do you still buy physical music such as casette tapes, CD's, vinyl? Or are you all-digital now using the likes of Apple Music/iTunes or Spotify? I think the last physical album I bought was back in 2016 with Blink-182's "California" release. the only reason I bought it was because I was in a best buy and saw it advertised and had some extra scratch so I bought it but I just find it more convenient to buy the music digitally nowadays as most PC's don't even support a CD drive anymore.
  2. Has anyone ever tried Asus RoG gaming phone? They've just revealed the RoG Phone 8 at CES 2024 and it looks really good. I'm actually considering it for my next phone if my Galaxy S21+ gives up on me. I'm curious how it would perform as a daily driver from day to day. I don't usually game on my phone but I wonder if having a gamer phone would change that for me? Has anyone ever used the Asus RoG Phones before?
  3. I'm currently in the market for a new PC. I normally go with 17.3" or 18" gaming laptops to use as a desktop replacement but I think i'm gonna see if there's anything new in the desktop world and do some re-arranging to try to get a proper desktop setup. If that doesn't work out though I will be looking at MSI and Alienware's 18" gaming laptop line this year for my PC. I don't like going smaller because of airflow and such. Since they are usually my daily driver and it's used pretty much all day every day to do various things as well as some pretty heavy gaming sessions. I feel the larger the chasis, the better the airflow for cooling. I would always prefer and recommend a desktop if you have the space but If not, 17" or 18" if it's not going ot be moved around is probably the best bang for your buck and the way to go IMHO.
  4. Has anyone else seen the great stuff coming out of CES? A ton of awesome new gaming laptops from MSI, Alienware and Asus. Along with some really awesome new peripherials, a new RoG phone and some new awesome OD QLED monitors from Alienware and Asus. What are your thoughts on all the new stuff they revealed so far at CES 2024? I'm excited to see how the MSI Titan 18 and Alienware M18 R2 is. I returned 2 M18 R1's a few months back so I'm hoping with these new chipsets the issues I had with the previous model are fixed.....but time and user reviews will tell i'm sure. Did you see anything you liked out of CES 2024?
  5. Really need to sort out my PC issues 😞 I have ideas for this channel but can't do anything until I get a working PC again 😞 Currently on a low-end macbook and can't really do much other than web browse and light work. Really hoping to get my PC issues sorted sometime this year, whether it be a new gaming laptop or hopefully, a desktop.
  6. While we do need to get better at posting content to it. I did manage to get my old youtube channel back after starting a new one (and unable to utilize the name so made it a "Plus" channel) The original is back and we're looking into different types of content to post to it. I don't really have any way to edit videos so I'm trying to figure out the best type of content I can put on the channel centered around gaming & content creation. Feel free to subscribe though as we would like to hit 1,000 subscribers and eventually apply for partner if that's in the cards for the future. https://www.youtube.com/revillution
  7. If you're an Android user, which phones do you tend to go with? Samsung's Galaxy or Google's Pixel? Personally, I go for the Galaxy myself but I never really used Google Pixel. It dooes look interesting. I used to love my HTC One M8 and I really wish HTC was still making those calibur of phones because they were really solid and had great sound to them. The only thing that suffered was the cameras they used. Which Android phone do you prefer? Samsung or Google?
  8. After roughly 8 years, the original Blink-182 lineup is reuniting (hopefully for the final time as the title of the album would suggest) for a new studio album and the songs they've released so far, are sounding pretty good. The new album "One More Time" is set to release on October 20th. The original guitarist Tom Delonge originally left the band in 2005, and then reunited with the band in 2009, put out an album "Neighborhoods" in 2011 and an EP "Dogs Eating Dogs" in 2012, before leaving the band again in 2015. Blink-182 brought in Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba for 2 studio albums in 2016's California & 2019's "Nine" (which ironically was their 8th studio album) before reuniting again with Tom Delonge in 2022. Now we're seeing the fruits of their labor as a reunited band that's been through a lot of ups and downs. What brought on this 2nd reunion with Tom Delonge was the plane crash that almost claimed the life of Travis Barker, the band's drummer and the bassist Mark Hoppus' battle with stage 4 lymphoma. Hoppus beat the disease and the band is now on tour appreciating that life is too short for petty stuff. The band has started playing some of their new material that will be featured on the album. One More Time drops on October 20th. As a long time Blink fan. I'm looking forward to the album and it does seem to sound like their older stuff from 2001-2003, which is nice to hear. What are your thoughts? Have you heard their new material yet?
  9. I usually upgrade every 3 to 5 years depending on circumstance. Right now the PC i have is coming up on it's 3rd year, but I had an issue with it 'fixed' earlier this year and now I feel as though it'll last a bit longer (They put in a whole new motherboard with new components) so i'm hoping to maybe get the full 5 years out of it now before I go and buy a new one.
  10. I have used cloud gaming. Honestly, it's nowhere near it should be and I don't think it will be for some time. Honestly, I feel like the internet infastructure that is needed to make Cloud Gaming worthwhile isn't really anywhere near ready. There are still a ton of places who have internet barely able to render a youtube video smoothly. I don't think they'll be able to utilize cloud gaming or the benefits it has (in terms of saving disc space on your console or PC) I just don't think the world is quite 'ready' yet for Cloud Gaming to hit it's full peak of potential.
