    I feel like it can be a turn off for new anime fans.  There is plenty of great series running around, but if you were to just click the first series in a list... the results my be pretty meh...

    I'm mostly on Facebook to catch up with family and friends and see their children grow up. Otherwise, it's mostly a place where people share memes it seems like...or to look down on others for their opinions on how things should be done. 

    This seems true.  Most of my time on Facebook is spent talking to older friends or family anymore.
