Xbox streaming device due for release by Microsoft within the next 12 months

Recommended Posts

Microsoft is getting into the “games streaming business”. Updates will include streaming apps for Samsung smart TVs. Reports stated that Microsoft devices will be able to not only stream games through Xbox but will also include movies and television shows as well.

Samsung smart TVs will be getting Xbox streaming apps for their sets, kind of like streaming sticks, and will be released in the next 12 months. Phil Spenser noted that the gaming landscape was changing, and gaming consoles are the foremost popular, including more devices like the Samsung TV. It’s going to change the way we think about gaming.

"At Xbox, we want to deliver a world where you have more freedom and choice to play the games you want, with the people you want, on the devices you want. A world where you can play without boundaries. A world beyond generations," said Phil Spenser.

Xbox Cloud Gaming recently added Fortnite to their services available to play on IOS, Android, and PC for free.
