What music do you dislike?

I can do without heavy metal. All the instruments playing & the singers don’t sing, they yell. Country music is another one along with rap music. Now granted, I do like some country songs but for the most part, I gravitate towards 80’s music. The era I grew up in. Music was different back then.

I really don't truly dislike any music.  I do not like the Country genre itself as it is so diverse that two people can be listening to country and both hate the type of music the other is listening to.  Granted, it is broken down in databases and such with sub-genres, but that is rarely a real world experience as most country radio stations seem to wildly swing from rock, pop, and more classic country music.

Hip-hop. Particularly the tracks where it's just the 'artist' rapping about how many cars they have, how much money they have, how many girls they have (and what they do in bed with them)... really don't see the appeal of those.

It really feels like bragging via music.  I have never found this concept appealing either.

I don't like modern country music. I can handle the old time stuff from the 50s and 60s and sometimes even the 70s. My dad liked country music when I was growing up and they played it at all the weddings we went to. I have fond memories of watching my mom dancing (and sometimes my dad). There is a type of dance that is a blues type of dance from the 60s and it's popular once again in some cities. My daughter took classes to learn how to dance like that and didn't know her grandmother used to do it! It was fun talking about it and I wished my daughter could have seen her grandma dance.

I’ve seen some variations of “avant garde” music where it feels like an excuse to not actually be able to play your instruments. Nobody is in key, time, or anything with each other.

I’ve heard good examples in the genre, and while I don’t like it, I can at least tell the difference between good and bad.

I can tolerate almost all kinds of music and it's not too often I can sit and say there is a kind of music that I just can not listen to but, when it comes to heavy metal or heavy rock music that is more like noise and shouting than actual music and singing, I can not tolerate that and will avoid listening to it in any way I can.

You also need to add having to use a lot of so many almost nude ladies in the damn music. It feels like a strong punch for me on the chin whenever I listen to such music. Most of them don't have talent to sing anything meaningful.

Yeah, that too.

Fortunately, the only times I even hear those songs are when someone else is playing them (e.g. in the background in shops) - and in 99% of those situations, I don't have to see the video 😛

The way it seems or appears that nudity now pays very well is the only justifiable reason why they are diving into it with their songs. Sadly, I must admit it sells very well. What's the future going to hold for those musicians who don't adapt?
