Even though I grew up in the country, I was never really into it. I preferred light 80’s rock. Though I do appreciate some country songs & singers out there. When I was a teen, I had a penpal (pre-internet days!) who was from Tennessee, USA so she got me into more country music when I visited her.

Do you like it? Do you have a favorite singer or song?

Johnny Cash have been one of my favorite guys when it comes to getting great country music to enjoy. One of my best songs he's released would be I Walk The Line. He's been so so good.

I like classic country, especially Dwight Yoakum and Willie Nelson.  Who else likes them?  Also, I agree with @Heatman on Johnny Cash.

Ain't No Grave is another Johnny Cash's song that I really loved so much. I can remember some years ago when Undertaker used it as his entrance song in WWE. It was epic.
