Long-term effects of living in a technological world?

I would say that one of the long-term effects of living in a technological world is going to be being too addicted to the use of tech and one's life is going to miserable should we experience a cut off using such tech. Take for instance what would happen whenever there's total internet shutdown. It's going to be crazy!!

People have become desensitized to their own & other's humanity. It's easy to bully, be disrespectful to another when you can't see the repercussions of your actions.

What I think is sad is when you go out to eat & people are looking down at their phones instead of chatting with their friends.

Face to face interpersonal communication have been dead a long time ago. It's sad that communication technology(social media platforms) was built to connect person and the world but it only ended up isolating us from our loved ones.

Yeah, people are such cowards behind the screen. I wonder if they ever get found out offline.  Any links on that?

I'm sure some have been found & called out. Especially if they are local & have a big mouth.
