Some of the country was close to being in a drought but we have had some rain which prevented us from ending up in one. 

We are due a lot more hot weather soon which I feel will result in us being in a drought and we haven't had much rain recently either.

I always remember my days in school and I always remember some lessons I would find that I could cope with and never minded being in the lessons but when it came to lessons that I found difficult in school, it was definitely maths and also science as well.

Not only did I find them difficult to some extent but I found that because of my interest in them and how difficult I found them, I would lose interest easily as well which never helped. 

When it comes to between a guy and a gal and which one I feel is more intelligent I don't feel I can make a decision on that as I do not feel it should be based on gender but more based on the individual. Whilst in some cases a female could be a little more intelligent than a male, that does not always mean that will be the case depending on each individual. 

You could end up meeting a male who is more intelligent than a female as well so I think it is based on a person-by-person basis and not by gender 🙂

I much prefer the sunset when it comes to either one. I guess because I am somewhat of a night owl I get to see that more so than I do the sunrise. Sometimes the sunrise can be so beautiful, especially during spring and summer. 

When it comes to driving, I much prefer the highway if I am honest as there are fewer stops and you get to your destination quicker and it seems more of a smoother drive. 

Scenic routes or B routes as my mum and grandma call them are something I only ever take if I fancy a change or if I am going for a drive.

Good afternoon from a very humid England. Very glad that the sun is behind the clouds today as I feel if the sun was shining today, it would be very uncomfortable with the humidity.

The last thing I watched was an episode of Chicago Fire. I really do need to get caught up as the season finale has now aired and I am actively avoiding spoilers which has not been easy LOL

At the moment, I would not trust self-driving vehicles as I feel more needs to be done to make them a lot safer. Do I feel that overtime they may be reliable and safe and something we will see more of? More than likely but they have a lot to go through first before we see this happen.

Good evening from a sunny England at the moment 🙂 I am busy catching up on a lot of stuff I missed last week due to falling unwell but taking it at a slow pace so that I do not go over the top and burn myself out.

@KyngI've listened to Duran Duran growing up but don't recall that particular song.

 

It really is, a very powerful song as well I felt and the vocals are just amazing 🙂

I myself last listened to Green Green Grass by George Ezra, such a great song and it's perfect for sunny and warm days like we have today 🙂

I dabbled in the language when I watched K-dramas but had found most songs to be in Korean & while pretty, couldn't understand them 🙂

The band my daughter listens to, BTS they have a lot of Korean songs but I have found now they tend to make a lot of them in English now as well. I do like their songs though even if they are in Korean they are great to listen to and it's great music to lift your mood 🙂

I usually exercise without a warm-up or without any stretches as well. I know I shouldn't and I can always remember when I was in school that we would always do the warm-up and stretches but it has never been something that I have continued to do into my adult life.

So something my mum has been doing for years and even more so now with the cost of living crisis as bad as it is, is she grows her own tomatoes, figs, apples, strawberries, and even cucumbers in her garden. She takes as much as she needs and then will give anything left over to me, my grandma, brother, auntie, or even her next-door neighbor.

I had thought about growing my own fruit and vegetables but the garden I have at the moment isn't the greatest for that so I haven't started.

Do you grow fruits and vegetables in your garden?

The garden I have at the moment has grass and we do have an area that has fake grass where we have our hot tub placed. If I had the money and was able to, I would love to either change from grass to concrete or even have decking in my garden but at the moment, I am stuck with the grass.

Do you prefer grass or concrete or even decking or slabs in your garden? 

Something that seems to be getting more popular each year is the number of people who have a hot tub in their garden. Hot tubs are perfect all year round if you are able to have them set under a gazebo or they could just be used for spring and summer time for garden parties or just being out in the garden.

We got a hot tub last year from a friend of mine who had to sell her hot tub due to moving home. She sold us it for £100 and allowed us to pay £25 a week over 4 weeks to pay it off.

I love being able to find out what the last movie was that someone watched as it can often lead to me finding new movies I would never have heard of unless someone told me about them.

What was the last movie you watched?

For me, it was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I don't tend to watch a lot of movies but when I do, it is usually one I know I will enjoy. 

I love having a topic where we can post the song we are currently listening to but I also think it is awesome to have a topic stating what the last song was we listened to as well. 

I love hearing what others are listening to as it helps to find new music.

I have been a fan of Chicago Fire ever since 2012 when it first started. I watched the first episode the minute you were able to and I have been watching the TV show ever since. I will admit, I am very behind at the moment due to work and I do need to catch up before the season finale which I know is going to be very soon. 

Do you watch Chicago Fire? 

M3GAN is still a movie I have yet to see. Due to my two eldest children being busy in the past, we haven't been able to watch it and I would like for us all to watch it together so that we don't have the urge to spoil it for one another. 

The movie does look awesome and I am curious because it is something different that I do not think we have seen before in a horror movie which makes it more interesting.
