  1. I think the American society is on a path of raising weak kids.  Kids have to learn to adult-up. Well, what I was I found out that appearing strong was the best thing, not actually fighting.  It's the same idea with possessing a nuclear arsenal. 😉

  2. It doesn't end some kids thinking they're better than others, but besides that, I can't really say if I favor uniforms or not.  Well, it comes across as foreign to me cause I went to public schools in the US and in that case I don't like it, but without real concrete reasons.

  3. It creates sons that are weak.  However, the mom thinks it helps the kid out.  Anyway, its difficult to criticize such women and in my case, I explained indirectly that people who are bossed around cannot develop leadership skills.

  4. I used to be into Poser big time, but  I don't have a PC right now, so I can't do that, but I miss it cause it's loads of fun, as fun for me as music.

Anyway, getting into it is a priority if I can get a PC.  There's no doubt about it.

  5. I'm not into boy bands. However, I could be too closed minded about this.  Anyway, the Beatles were a boy band when they started. Does anyone agree?

I have CarPlay, but it requires I plug my phone in. Sometimes I’m too lazy to plug it in for just a short drive, so I listen to the radio.

My annoyance with the radio is how often they play the same songs over and over. Apparently the local classic rock station only recognizes 20 songs that came out between 1970 and 1989.

My favorite line from that station is “we own the entire Eagles catalog”. I didn’t know the Eagles only wrote one song.

Yeah, I can't blame you here. In fact, unless it's paid radio, it's not worth it in some places.  Well, as you say, I can't understand why others are so closed minded (music listeners).

  7. In World War II, Hitler invaded the east to gain access for living space for Germans and for resources.  It's as clear cut as that and any racist stuff was just to justify the main reason.   Well, does anyone think war could come from other reasons?   Well, in the case of Hitler, you could have said he was trying to stop Communism, which indeed did take over Eastern Europe and part of Germany after World War II, but then again, Germany strongly wanted resources.

  8. This is a dark topic, so I don't mean to offend people.   However, though, in a free-speech arena it's worth a thought.   Anyway, myself, I think some have it coming.  For instance, if someone is just really mean and people object to it, then wouldn't that bring in passive aggression and bullying?

Note, though, I don't agree with bullying even people who deserve it.  My Christian beliefs teach to deal with evil by avoiding it or challenging it head-on.   I don't have time to play games or answer cruelty with cruelty.

  9. I'd like to build a soundproof room for drums or even just get a soundproof drum cage, but it's way too expensive.   In fact, a cheaper alternative is just a electronic set.  Anyway, though, even disregarding sound, a room for drums is a must for a musician and I had one at my old place, but it wasn't soundproof.

  10. A lot of music of different genres are empowering.   However, I don't like songs about breakups and stuff.   They bring you down.   Actually, they could promote suicide, so they could be dangerous.

  11. Some people might challenge a bubble, but critics might say, "Well, your delivery is stupid, no wonder you're being harassed.".   Well, that could be the case, however, how what is the probability it is always the case?  In fact, some people are on the prowl, looking for anyone saying stuff they don't like.

I feel a lot of internet activism is kind of pointless, especially on social media. I don’t think anyone’s ever had their opinions changed on Facebook or Twitter. It’s usually people posting for validation from their peers, or just pretending to be worldly.

You can post something that is outside someone's bubble, but be prepared to be harassed for it!   It's actually shocking how angry it makes people and I don't think it's the delivery of it; it's just the fact you're challenging the bubble.
