Do you plan your life?

I try not to make overall plans if I can as so many changes so quickly and if I have something planned and it doesn't go to plan, I can often feel all out of routine which then leads to stress and I don't take too well with stress. There are some occasions where things are planned but they tend to go to plan, for anything else, I just like to roll with it and see how it goes.

I am a planner. I like to plan things out and be ready ahead of time. Like Friday we went out of town, I factored in the drive time and how long it would take to do each activity. We left at the perfect time, had time to do all the things and then make it back home exactly when I thought we would.

I used to plan more when I was younger. Time just is different as you get older. I still like plans & routines, but I'm able to be okay if it doesn't go according to plan. If we took long trips, of course we'd need a more detailed plan. Where we are staying. What to see. Taking the time off. To make the most of it. Now, we don't take long trips. Just not into them nor the extensive planning that goes along with it.

I wouldn't see myself living without having a plan. It's something I work on every single day in order to make sure that I get that desired outcome. As far as I'm concerned, it's one who's hopeless that's going to live on without a plan.

I'm living with my parents at the age of 33, do you think I plan my life? No, I don't. I just try and take one day at a time and try to develop better habits and a mindset as the days pass. It's probably not very mentally healthy to not set goals, but I'm just at a big loss of how I want my life to turn out and I'm already content with the way it is now.

Normally? No. But I do make the attempt to plan out certain events if I know I need to plan them out. I probably would have attempted to plan out my life if I was 10 years younger.

Planning one's life is very important because if everything goes well according to your plan, it would seem like it's magic but it's not. A lot of people make this mistake without planning but only for them to start regretting when time is no longer in their corner.

I'm a spontaneous person.  I don't like planning.  This has caused me trouble with some family members, as they are into planning and try to encourage others to do the same.

They think I am being lazy and sloppy, but I'm just a spontaneous person.
