Yeah, pretty much. It's also nice for catching up on older stuff, if you want to do that - but that's just about it.

I got a month of it on offer - and so far, I've watched Kenobi, and about half of WandaVision. Don't know yet whether I'll be keeping it long-term, or just going back to Netflix (I don't want to pay for two streaming services at once).

Yeah, from what I've seen of it, they are quite incredible. Though, I suspect I would've been more into it when I was younger. I used to love Gladiators back then!

Well, the main ones at the Olympics are Shooting and Equestrian. But I'm not sure how helpful that is: they both require a lot of space, and the latter requires you to be rich enough to own a horse!

I have occasionally seen the British version (Ninja Warrior UK). It's entertaining enough, but not something I ever really got into.

Currently watching University Challenge... the questions haven't started yet, though - so obviously I haven't got any right yet 😛 .

It's more like IRC, with voice chat and some forum-like features. For example, each Discord server includes multiple channels, which can have forum-like 'threads' in them. Myself, I find that Discord is good for quick chatter, but not for more long-form discussions (forums are better for that).
