Indeed, I'd hate to think how much we've spent on model railway stuff over the years. At this point, it's almost certainly in five figures >_< . I can afford it because it's my only 'expensive' hobby (my other main one is forumming, which takes up a lot of time, but is insanely cheap in monetary terms), but it's definitely an issue! -

I think it's risky, since a lot of fans are likely to be very emotionally invested in Ash. But now that he's World Champion, there's nowhere for his his story to go from here. Let's hope the new protagonists are good! -

Indeed, I probably would have done! I suspect I would've thought Windows XP was Roman numerals or something (and thus was "the computer that the Romans used when Jesus was around"). No idea about Vista, though!

Not really... I suppose the closest thing I have is a spare bedroom, which houses the model railway! -
Yeah, there are loads of terms for them. Here in the UK, the generic term is "fizzy drink" 😛 !

Yeah, I think Qatar was an all-round horrible choice. No football fanbase; poor human rights record; impractical to hold a sports tournament there due to the weather... the only thing they do have is money, which seems to be all that FIFA care about. Still watching to support my team - but doing it with considerably less enthusiasm than in previous years.

I dislike driving, so yes, I'd love to have one of these one day. Of course, I'd want the technology to be thoroughly tested first, so that I could be confident that the chances of a computer error were less than the chances of a human error. -

Yeah, I love learning. The idea of life without learning just sounds depressing to me! Doesn't really matter what I'm learning, but it's one reason why I got back into chess recently. So many openings, strategies, tactics, and endgames to learn!

I have Windows 11 on my laptop, and Android on my phone. Not exactly a fan of Windows 11, but now I'm just used to it 😛 .

Motor racing might be nice - but it'll never happen, because the IOC doesn't allow any sports that rely on mechanical propulsion. And even if it wasn't for that, it'd probably be too expensive anyway.

Well, they're certainly nice to have. But I don't mind if a theme is plain: as long as it gets the job done (i.e. it's not too hard on the eyes, and everything is clear and easy to read), I won't be put off by it.
