    Well, I had a nice week with my sister (who came home for her birthday). We saw my grandma; then saw one of our friends; then went to a garden, and finally, had a birthday dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant. She went home earlier today, which was a bit sad - but, I was glad to have her here!

    I have to admit, I don't often dress up to go a restaurant (only if it's a particularly fancy place). But I do try to look presentable, at least!

    Indeed, it would have done! The original 119 was used at the ceremony to mark the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1869 - and, this replica shows the same level of love and attention 🙂 . Anyway, back to the counting: 121 🙂 .

    I mean, the entire 'breastaurant' concept does make me cringe. But I'm not bothered all that much by their existence... if you don't like them, just do what I do, and avoid going to them 😛 .

    While I don't think the idea is bad, I do agree that it'd be very difficult to implement. Every method of age verification that I can think of is either useless, or invasive of privacy 😞 .

    Yeah, software development jobs aren't going away. Although, I do think the skill set required is likely to change - as knowing what to ask the AI becomes increasingly important 😛 .

    From what I've heard, women are slightly more intelligent on average - but male intelligence shows more variance (so you'll find more extreme intelligence in men - but also more extreme stupidity 😛 )

    Yeah, probably. Indeed, if I want to keep my job as a software developer, it's something I'm probably going to have to get good at myself!

    I don't use it... when my friend share TikTok clips with me, it's usually just mindless clips that are a few seconds long. I much prefer longer-form content that I can find on YouTube.

    Well, this sounds very good on paper. In practice, though, I think it'll require some skill in knowing which questions to ask the AI. Furthermore, there will probably be all kinds of details that the AI will struggle to get right - and will still need to be edited manually. Still, the AI-generated site looks like it'll be a good starting point!

    Speaking of themes, I've always used the dark theme on here, but I accidentally clicked the button to switch to the light theme. And I have to say, I rather like it! Very clean and simple... I think I'll use it from now on 🙂 .
