Do you think boys or girls are more intelligent?

Both males & females have their own smarts due to their biology. Just like how men are naturally stronger than women. Then women tend to share their emotions & want to talk it out more than the guys do. -
Happy Weekend! Last one in July. What do you do on your weekends @Uncrowned Guard? We either work around the house & yard, go garage saling, or 5 times a year, have garage sales at my parents. Our 3rd one will be next weekend.

All fine & great, all ages need that protection. But what would help the children is for the parents to be more active in their lives. Most parents don't even know what their kids are doing. Problem is, I don't see that changing. Both parents have to work to have all this tech & then if they are home, they are ON those tech devices.

I don't know of any here in the USA or in the Dutch culture. I'm not into musical instruments but there may be some. What about you @Nebulous? @Heatman Do you know how to play any of those yourself?

I guess whatever works! But parents should have been monitoring their kid's internet usage anyways. I know it's harder now with everybody having their own phones but parents still need to be parents.

I guess it depends on what the topic is about. If we are just chatting about the weather, I don't need to read a lengthy weather report lol But if it's a deeper conversation & a friend is needing to talk, to vent, then I'm fine with it being long. It just may take me longer to read & hence reply.

Long-term effects of living in a technological world?

People have become desensitized to their own & other's humanity. It's easy to bully, be disrespectful to another when you can't see the repercussions of your actions. What I think is sad is when you go out to eat & people are looking down at their phones instead of chatting with their friends. -
You are right! Most would've drove on by. Probably distracted by texting on their phones! I would hope if I saw something like this, I'd do what I could.

I'm always in awe at how animals can go to humans like that for help especially when humans are also the one they are most likely taught to be afraid of! I'm so glad the baby deer was saved 🙂

I'm the same way! I feel for the other person. I wouldn't want it done to me. Even if it is considered "funny". Thank you for sharing your story with us! I can see how it would be embarrassing. 🙂 When America's Funniest Home Videos first came out, I remember my mom & I laughing so hard! Then it got to be the same ol'. A guy getting hurt on his, well, you know! Or posting where animals are being scared to death. I definitely don't find those amusing at all! -
Vinyl records have made a comeback! I'm a bit surprised as the majority of people have music on their phones.

I live rural so most of the back roads are traffic-free. You may see more creatures than humans lol

Do you live in the country as well? What do you like to hike? We live rural & we've taken some nice hikes on trails locally.

My husband does as well. I've seen where both the seller & buyer have been both the scammer & victim. Definitely have to keep watch out.

I prefer at home. I took some classes years ago but I tend to get intimidated easily & I like going at my own pace.

What do you like to do in the summer? I sit outside doing my puzzle books. Take walks around our acreage. I have field guides so I like to identify flora & fauna. Plus I have a lot of flowers & find weeding therapeutic lol

As long as the Fact Checking is not biased like it's been on Facebook & other platforms. Even if the company doesn't agree with a stance, still have it be part of the Facts.

What other MX mouses do you like? I've only tried this trackball. The keyboard I have is an ergonomic Microsoft one. I am in need of a newer one as this one is quite old but I looked into the updated versions & they are designed much different so my wrists were killing me.
