We milk it to be honest lol We don't like to upgrade to upgrade. Plus, newer versions tend to have bugs in them & I rather the professionals deal with & hence fix them before I have to get a headache lol

Do you prefer school uniform or regular clothes? Either for you going to school or for your kids? Both have their advantages & disadvantages. My school was public so just wore regular clothes. I wouldn't prefer uniforms in school because people need to establish their own identity especially as kids. But I can see how some would want to be, literal, uniform to everybody else. What do you think?

Did you ever try to cook something from an anime? Especially if it was set in another country? When I watched & read some years ago, it gave me some ideas on what to try. I already like Asian cuisine. My husband is the cook. We also tweaked it as some of the spices we couldn't find easily. Plus, we weren't sure how it would taste & having to buy a spice we only used one time if we didn't like the dish, didn't appeal to us. I honestly can't remember what dishes we made. We've only made them a few times as they were quite tedious.

That's too bad! While I don't play DnD, I have friends who enjoy playing.

Good Morning! How are things going with everybody. Next upcoming holiday is Valentine's Day in 1 month exactly now.

I am not technically inclined whatsoever so I cannot imagine building one. However, I have great reverence for those who have the knowledge & know-how to build from scratch. Our desktop & laptop is just Dell. We've always had good experiences with this brand so keep with what we know. I know others don't like them but we've had good luck for the amount we use it. Do you build your own computer?

I honestly prefer the Desktop. My husband uses the Laptop for his own use but he doesn’t get on the computer too much. What’s to like? The Desktop has a bigger screen, it’s on a desk (lol) so it’s easier on the body where you aren’t just slouching on the couch or bed. I can’t imagine using that small keyboard to type. I use an ergonomic keyboard & mouse otherwise my wrists will be hurting. Same too with a tiny cell phone. What do you prefer & why?

We’re not ones who upgrade just to upgrade. I finally am getting used to Windows 10. I’m not interested in 11 yet. We’ll upgrade when we have to. They always have so many issues at the beginning. I rather they fix the bugs as that’s less stress on me lol For those who have 11, what do you think of it?

I don’t see as many now that you have mentioned it. I’ve seen a few that liked to create drama on forums but I do think they frequent Social Media more. Forums are not like they used to be. May be a good thing as far as trolls are concerned.

Even though I grew up in the country, I was never really into it. I preferred light 80’s rock. Though I do appreciate some country songs & singers out there. When I was a teen, I had a penpal (pre-internet days!) who was from Tennessee, USA so she got me into more country music when I visited her. Do you like it? Do you have a favorite singer or song?

Happy New Year's Eve! Wishing you all a great weekend. We hit the 50's for a couple of days so our 2' of snow from our blizzard is near gone. Now we're back to more normal weather & temps.

Putting this in Music. This was very popular back in the 80’s. It’s a form of street dance. It involves being very athletic. It almost reminds me of Parkour, just set to music & you stay in one place versus moving around a course. When I did a search, it still remains popular in some areas. Have you tried it? I will admit I don’t care for dancing & cannot imagine doing all the moves this sort of dance requires. However, you have to give respect where respect is due at the ingenuity.

For those who read as well as watch anime & cartoons, how do you think they compare? I’ve always preferred the book as they tend to explain more in depth what’s going on. Subtle things the anime removes due to time restrictions. I’ve watched an anime then sometimes would read the story to fill in the gaps just to see what they missed.

Who has played this? Around here, I have seen several courses. While it’s not that popular, it is gaining in momentum. For those who have never heard of this game, it is also called Frisbee Golf in some areas. The game started when people threw Frisbees at targets. The object is to complete each hole with the least amount of throws. I have never played it myself; honestly not sure how I would be as I tend to overthrow a Frisbee lol

Do you have a favorite song or even a group as a whole that lifts you up anytime you are down? That helps to empower you in life? I like Bon Jovi’s “It’s my life”. Most songs from Bon Jovi are quite empowering in my opinion. There are other songs from the 80’s that I loved as well that helped me through some tough times. Those consisted of finding & having love, beating the odds in life.

I can be civil. I'm of the Agree to Disagree. Problem with that is, it's gone by the wayside. So many Movements out there demanding Equal Rights when all it does is lean rights to one side. Theirs. & if you don't believe, don't agree, you are shunned. I have no problem being friends with others who differ from my beliefs. I won't waste my time, however, on those who, while they demand they be heard, don't listen to others.

@Kyng Love this story! I can see the mix-up lol So, Windows 7, you would have thought was plain old year 7? 😄 Have you thought of how you as a kid would have explained XP or Vista? I guess things I believed was simply Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny. Not to mention the Tooth Fairy lol

For sports or other recreation. Is it a garage or basement room converted? Own building? When did you decide to have one? What do you use it for? i.e. parties, just hanging out. We don't have one as we don't entertain people. My husband has commandeered the garage though for his own use. Not to watch TV or the like, but just to relax, tinker, etc.

Do you think people prefer the manga over an anime due to the latter being dragged out too long? I'm thinking for those who read manga, they like it because it IS dragged out. They can keep enjoying the story. There's nothing like having a favorite book or even TV series end & you just want it to keep going. Not to mention, they keep adding to the suspense to the story to keep people hooked & wanting more.
